My name is Francine West and I have two great passions – singing and motorcycles. I started out 16 years ago doing friend’s parties and biker events for ABATE of Oregon. Here we are starting a new year, got a few things to share with you. We hosted our Happy Trails Party Dec 30th enjoying a packed house, so many players that we had to rotate after two songs. We would like to thank Trails for 2 1/2 years of fun. We are blessed with new friends and lots of musicians. Many asked, What are you going to do? Where are you going? So I put on my walking shoes snooped around and what did I find?
ANNOUNCING!!!! The Spare Room Wed. Night Jam Session 8:00 to midnight. Starting Feb. 17th. 4830 NE 42nd in Portland. Francine will be featuring a rotating lineup featuring Kevin Selfe and Chris Carlson on lead, Rhythm section, Phillip Tucker and Randy Monroe, tickling the key will be Bonnie Lee Bluestone. There are plenty of jams on Wed. so when you are out and about stop on in, no cover and we start early. Francine is a very friendly host and you will get to play.
For you R&R lovers, we are expanding The Musicians Toy Run Benefit adding a Spring show. April 17th at 3:00 we will dive in. Ten bands in ten hours. Already committed, Bolt Upright. Sinners Club and Bad Motor Scooter. We will be adding information at FrancineWest.com as available. So put The Spare Room on your list of venues and we hope to see you.
